User Settings

The User Management section, found under Admin Settings on the platform, allows administrators to manage user roles and permissions. It displays the assigned roles such as Admin, Manager, Trusted, and Viewer, along with the organization name and the status of each user (Active or Invited). From this section, administrators can reinvite users who have not accepted their invitations or deactivate users, thereby controlling access to the platform and its projects. This feature ensures effective management of users, maintaining security and proper access control.

Inviting New Users

  • Navigate to the Users Page: Go to the page where you can manage users.
  • Click Invite: Located at the top right corner of the page to invite new users to the platform.

Managing User Projects

  • View and Edit Projects: In the “Projects” column, click on the number next to a user to see an extended view of their projects.

  • Add or Remove Projects: From this extended view, you can add new projects or remove existing ones associated with the user.

Deactivating Users

  • Go to Admin Settings: Click on User Management, then select Users.

  • Click the Three Dots: On the right side of the portal find and click the three dots next to the user’s name.

  • Select Deactivate: Choose the option to Deactivate the user.

Deactivating a user is permanent; they will lose access to the project and the platform and if the user is a project owner, be sure to assign a new project owner from the same organization before deactivating them.

Changing User Roles

If you wish to change the role for a specific person, search for the user, click on the three dots icon, and select 'Change Roles'. Choose the role from the dropdown and click 'Update'. Currently, you can only change the role of active users, not invited users.

Transfer User

If you wish to transfer the user to any other account, you can do so through 'Transfer User'. When the user is a project owner, both the user and the project get transferred to another organization. If the intention is to transfer only the user and not the project, the project owner should be changed for the specific project. If the user is not the project owner, the user will be transferred to another organization without any project.
